Photographer told he “needs a license” to take photos in public
He said: “I was just standing in the crowd when the two special constables came up to me and asked me if I had a licence. I didn’t think I needed a licence so I told them that – and then they said they had seen me taking pictures of the crowd which was not allowed. They asked me to come with them and escorted me away from the crowd…
Does the special constable know the law? I do, and im not a police officer. What he SHOULD have done was find out what the law is, i.e. ask their sarge. If I was in the photographer’s place, I would have objected, gotten arrested, then sued the shit out of the police for false arrest, false imprisonment and kidnapping, and sue the poliec officer for Malfeaseance in a Public Office
